Return to Ethiopia
Dear Family and Friends,
I arrived in Addis Ababa last night after a 23 hour journey.
I had a whirl-wind visit in the states and kept very busy.
Highlights: Short visits with family, friends, church, Open-House for me at Jackie Tetreaults, seeing my first grandbaby for the first time, having meals with friends, dinner at Pam Gethard's, the Mission's Conference at Sanibel Community Church, daughter Catherine's visit from Georgia, my visit with son and wife, John and Kathy and baby Savannah, time with son Thomas, Mother, brother Brant and his wife Carolyn, my Mother, stay with Jackie and many errands to run---HOW DID SO MUCH HAPPEN IN 3 SHORT WEEKS?! and telephone contacts with loved ones, lots of hugs and prayers.
It was a busy time in the states but I got much accomplished: taxes, closing a storage locker, talking with groups who work for the Lord, and returning with many supplies for Project Mercy. I am eager to get back to see all the children, teachers, and friends in Yetebon (a 2 hour drive from Addis where I have arrived). Pray for peace and stability and progress for Ethiopia and for the work of Project Mercy.
Forgive me if I have left anyone/anything out. You are all important to me and I am very grateful for your love and support.
In His Service,
Dee Donalson
